The firm was established in 1989 by Mr Jan Hanekom, primarily as a Town and Regional Planning firm in Paarl, Cape Town, however, quickly grew and expanded into a multi-disciplinary organization, offering a wide range of services to the client. The Architectural component of the firm was introduced in 1992. Val de Vie Launches
Val de Vie Winelands Lifestyle estate Is a new luxury estate next to the Berg river, only 40 minutes from Cape Town. A total of 550 stands will be available, ranging from 600m² to 1500m². Some overlooking vineyards, others the polo fields, dams, and the Berg River. Stands are sited to allow maximum used of space while assuring privacy. JHP is proud to be the principal town planning consultants for this development.

Proposal for Multi Million rand Hotel
JHP has just done a concept proposal for a multi million rand hotel in Cape Town. The concept was effectively conveyed to the client by generating a 3d-model on computer and rendering multiple views.

This R410 Mil Golf Estate was conceived and initiated by Jan Hanekom partnership. The joint venture between the local authority, Paarl golf club and the developer was negotiated and structured successfully by this firm to generate a phenomenal return for the developer.
